BTS Logo PNG

The original visualization distinguishes the BTS logo with trapezoidal elements resembling open doors. They symbolize the openness and accessibility of the team to fans, reflecting the unity of the musicians and their supporters.

BTS: Brand overviewFounded:2013–presentFounder:Big Hit EntertainmentHeadquarters:
Seoul, South KoreaWebsite:bts.ibighit.comBTS is an acronym for the mega-popular Korean boy band, formerly known as “Bulletproof Boy Scouts,” and since 2017, after rebranding, as “Beyond the Scene.” BTS enjoys staggering popularity among the youth; in 2018, they were named “Person of the Year” by Time, surpassing the iconic American band Planet Earth and the divers who rescued children from a flooded cave in Taiwan.Meaning and History

“Bulletproof Boy Scouts” were created on 06/13/2013 by Big Hit Entertainment as a counterpart to the female group “Girls’ Generation,” which was at the peak of popularity in Asia and had already conquered Europe and the USA.

Seven charming young men skilled in dancing and singing were selected for the male group through open auditions. Initially, BTS wanted to be called “Big Kidz” or “Young Nation,” but after the team’s creation, the producers unexpectedly proposed the name “Boy Scouts Bulletproof,” which shocked the members.

Initially, they were even against such a name, but when the guys explained the main concept of their boy band, the idea was accepted. The point is that the guys emphasized the military theme, so they came out in bulletproof vests for their first performance, which became their trademark, reflected in the first logo.

BST lineup: RM (group leader), Chia, Shugi, J-Hope, Jimina, Wi, and Jong Kook.

In 2018, after the renaming, the group received the title “Artist of the Year” at the prestigious Mnet Asian Music Awards for the studio album Wings. In the American Billboard 200 albums chart, BTS achieved a unique result for artists from Asia, ranking 7th. Two singles, “MIC Drop” and “DNA,” became the first (and so far only) in Korea to receive a gold certificate from the RIAA.

The BTS logo changed only once, but both versions are very symbolic and memorable. The main value of the brand and its creativity – associations of the past, present, and future.

What is BTS?

It’s a vocal group from South Korea targeting teenage girls. It consists of seven members led by Kim Namjoon. The full name of BTS is Bangtan Boys. And in 2017, another version of the acronym’s decoding appeared: Beyond the Scene.

2013 – 2017

The first logo of the group was a recognizable image of a bulletproof vest with numerous pockets, surrounded by rays and two lightning bolts on the sides. In the center – the name with the acronym BTS. According to the creators’ concept, such reliable protection from pressure and prejudices is very necessary for young people in modern society. Over time, new goals were added to the concept: not stopping at what has been achieved but following the dream.

2017 – today

That year, representatives of the Big Hit Entertainment label decided to update the name, values, and logo of the group according to the new realities of the global world. The name “Behind the Scenes” indicates that young people, despite everything, cling to what has been achieved, develop, and move forward. In light of the new concept, the protective gear was replaced with a stylized image of a slightly open door through which young people rush into the future. The BTS name moved to the bottom.

At the same time, the logo of the official BTS fan group – ARMY – was reworked. A new logo was created, very similar to the BTS emblem – also in the form of doors, only open from the other side.

As the label owner said, these two modern logos are a joint development of the group members, the design team, and the most active fans. The main task set before them was to show that the brand and its representative team are oriented towards the future. At the same time, both logos – of the performers and fans – demonstrate their unity, so on all official BST products (albums, flyers, posters, fan items), both versions are presented.

Font and Colors

The group’s trademark consists of the word “BTS” (below) and two vertically positioned rectangles (above). The geometric shapes are trapezoidal and mirror images. The left and right sides of the emblem are completely symmetrical because, according to the designers’ idea, these are the doors opened to the future.

From 2013 to 2017, the group’s name was applied in stencil style with wide dashed lines. After updating the logo, the style of the inscription changed:

The letters became solid. The letter “T” has triangular cuts on both sides of the horizontal stroke. The letter “S” has rectangular bends at the ends.Serifs and other decorative elements are absent.

The primary color of the emblem is dark gray; the secondary is white. The first is used for the trapezoids and the inscription “BTS,” and the second serves as a neutral background.

What is the significance of the BTS logo?

The trapezoids in the BTS logo symbolize open doors. Presumably, these are the doors behind which fans meet their favorite performers. The symbol represents the unity of musicians and fan groups.

Why did BTS change their logo?

The BTS logo changed because the owners of this music project decided to change their marketing approach. The new concept involved creating an image of a progressive group that is always open to its fans.

What is the real BTS logo?

The real BTS logo consists of two black trapezoids positioned opposite each other. The figures look like mirror reflections of each other. At the bottom, the group’s name is written, for which the designers used a bold font with serifs.

What does BTS KPOP mean?

BTS is deciphered by various acronyms: Bangtan Boys, Bulletproof Boy Scouts, Bangtan Sonyeondan, and more recently – Beyond the Scene.

BTS~WE ARE GIVING OUT 10,000 tickets tickets

How can I get VIP BTS concert tickets 2025/2026? (Never been to a k-pop concert)

Hi everyone! I’ve been an ARMY since debut (yes, that long !) and I’ve never gotten the chance to see BTS live and it pains me so much !! )): when I first got into BTS they debuted when I was in 5th grade and of course I was way too young for concerts. I couldn’t afford tickets for all of the past years. Now im an adult, and I feel like I’ll never get a chance to see them. I wanna see them front row/VIP and I promised my little sister I’d try my best and promised her since we were kids. I feel so nostalgic thinking about how long I’ve listened to then and practically grown up with them. I’ve never bought tickets to see a kpop group, and I have no idea where to start or how to make sure to get tickets. Are their tickets GA or seats? Are front row/VIP tickets a thing? How can I ensure? I know I have to have a membership, but where can tickets be purchased. I am saving up money. Please any advice for those who bought tickets or were able to get sound check tickets or front row? Please help! Thank you all 🥹🥺🫶🤍

Edit: if anyone has gotten to or know how to, I appreciate the help 🥺🫶 tips are helpful

Edit again: thanks everyone for the great advice !! anyone feel free to comment with questions ((: You guys are so sweet. I love how ARMYs love to help each other out and didn’t gatekeep on this post.
